I wasn't really gone *that* long, but I felt really disconnected to everything when I got back from my trip Wednesday night. I basically just spent the past 4 days trying to get back to this time zone, my normal routine, work and my apartment. I think I have a handle on what I need to do at work for the next few days. My apartment seems under control. I have a shopping list and a plan to prepare to my parents' visit. I know there are going to be some issues, but maybe if I just accept that the next week and a half of planning will be less stressful. I'm hoping to have everything pretty much set so that I can go to Pitchfork this coming weekend!
does anyone have an air mattress i could borrow the wednesday and thursday night before memorial day weekend? i have two people who don't know each other staying with me and i don't think they will want to sleep on the futon together.
